“Don’t Let Your Dreams Be Dreams"
This quote is on a canvas hanging in my massage room and was given to me by my husband, Tim,when I graduated from massage.school.
After a successful career as an Administrative Assistant it became to clear to me that I needed something more. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. I decided to do that by becoming a massage therapist. At the age of 62 I graduated from Spa Tech Institute to pursue my dream of owning my own business, being a massage therapist and making a difference.
Some of my experience includes giving a massage to a non-verbal, autistic 8 year old little boy. I first massaged his legs and he immediately made eye contact with me. Previously, he never looked me in the eyes.
On the other end of the spectrum was an 85 year old man who was a stroke victim. It was a total privilege to massage him and give him some pain relief. I knew my massages made a difference in his life and he made a difference in mine.
I now have a wonderful massage business in Amesbury, MA. All my clients are important to me. When you walk through my door I am processing your words and needs and putting a massage plan into place that will help you feel better when the hour is over.
You will find my massages relaxing, refreshing, soothing and therapeutic.
So bring me your tired, aching, stress-filled muscles, your back, shoulders and your mind that is in over-drive. I will bring you relief.
This career makes a difference in the lives of others but it makes a bigger difference in my life. My dreams are no longer dreams. They are now my reality.
I live in Exeter NH with my husband of 46 years. We have a married son, daughter and 4 grandchildren.
I hope to meet you soon.
